Bio
Dr. Jake Yost acquired his science background at the University of Virginia and later earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University at the Medical College of Virginia. Thereafter, Jake has maintained a strong focus on the evidence-based treatment of spine and joint pain, neurological disorders, cardiovascular pathologies, and balance deficits. After several years in practice, Jake felt unsatisfied with the low quality of today’s physical therapy at such a high cost to the patient. He knew he wanted to raise the bar while also helping to solve the problem of affordable healthcare. That’s why he founded PT Rehab Doc, a company that follows the science to develop research-based therapeutic rehab and exercise routines that decrease pain, increase strength, and protect the joints of the body for the long term. Outside of the clinic, Jake enjoys practicing medical illustration and keeping a close eye on advancing therapeutic research for the benefit of those in need.
